I have never, EVER written a fan letter but as I sit down to type this, I’m realizing that’s exactly what this is. Ever since I read The Spade of Reason several years ago I’ve been struck, or rather, haunted by the depths to which the mind and the universe are connected. Our mind/universe relationship (or rather, our relationship with the universal mind) had existed around the edges of my consciousness for years until it hit me with full force upon reading Jim’s amazing story.
As you might imagine, I was ecstatic upon hearing that a film has been adapted and is premiering soon. Congratulations!! I also wanted to send you a song I wrote and recorded a couple of years ago. My solo musical project is called Skyjelly and The 6 Is Silent was one of the first tunes I recorded on (inspired, of course, by Mr. Cowan’s phenomenal writing). I hope you and Jim enjoy it!
